New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center Welcomes Fellowship-Trained Trauma Surgeon

New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center is pleased to welcome Bryan K. Houseman, D.O., a fellowship-trained trauma surgeon, to its practice.

Southern New Hampshire physicians and patients can now benefit from Dr. Houseman’s expertise when trauma strikes. Dr. Houseman is available to care for seriously injured patients both at the initial point of care when stabilization of injuries is necessary as well as when patients are stable.

As a fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon, Dr. Houseman has specialized training to address the variety of fractures that occur from traumatic injuries, including upper and lower extremity injuries and fractures of the pelvis. Of particular benefit is his ability to treat severely broken bones involving joints that require precise reconstruction enabling patients to regain alignment and minimize the risk of degenerative joint disease.

“Our patients don’t ask for what happens to them when accidents strike but when they do, they deserve to be taken care of by the best.” said Dr. Houseman. “I can be an excellent resource to help patients deal with their injuries and fractures. I have extensive training in fractures to the pelvis, extremities, post-traumatic deformities, and joint reconstruction.”

A graduate of Northeastern University, Dr. Houseman graduated medical school from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at the WellSpan York Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program in York, Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
