How Our Walk-In Clinic Works
The Same-Day Access Clinic offers a continuum of care from evaluation to recovery, so you can get back to your day as soon as possible. Here's how it works:
Visit
Walk in to our Bedford office Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (last patient accepted at 5:45 PM). No appointment or referral is necessary — just walk in for treatment of a new sprain, strain, fracture, sports injury, joint pain, or work injury.
Evaluation
One of our orthopaedic specialists will examine your injury. Digital X-rays can be taken on site and read immediately by your provider, so you get answers the same day instead of waiting for imaging results to be sent elsewhere.
Treatment
Based on your diagnosis, our team can begin treatment right away, including casting and splinting for fractures, sprains, and strains.
Follow Up
If your injury needs ongoing care, we'll help you schedule a follow-up appointment with an NHOC orthopaedic physician so your treatment continues with our team.

Do I need an appointment or referral to be seen?
No. The Same-Day Access Clinic is walk-in only — no appointment or referral is required. Simply walk in during clinic hours and you will be seen.

How much will it cost me to visit the Same-Day Access Clinic?
NHOC accepts most major health insurance plans and will automatically bill your insurance company after your visit. If you don't have insurance, or your plan isn't one we accept, payment is due at the time of your visit. Co-pays are also due at your visit. Your co-payment is the same as a specialty physician office visit, making it a less expensive option compared to the ER.
