Physical therapy is her passion, and she takes great joy in working with patients and getting them back to their interests while improving their quality of life. She is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and has treated a variety of lymphedema cases through the years.
“I feel fortunate to be part of the NHOC since everyone works together as a team. I can easily access the Orthopedics and Physician Assistants so that patients have quick responses regarding their medical care.”
“Coming from an athletic family I became fascinated in physical therapy at an early age as injuries were a common occurrence. From my father’s knee and brother’s shoulder injuries playing baseball to my own two ACL reconstructions there were numerous experiences with orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists.”
“My first ACL tear occurred playing high school basketball. I was lucky to have such a skilled surgeon, Dr. Joseph, and a fantastic PT who brought me back stronger than ever. I missed part of my junior basketball season but came back with a vengeance for softball! Such a victory after grueling rehab! Decades later I experienced a second ACL tear with my other knee while alpine skiing. It was a different experience due to being older and other injuries sustained. It was an arduous process getting back to everything I could do prior. All would not be possible without PT.”
“I look forward to meeting you, helping you achieve your goals, and getting you back to your favorite activities!”
Sheri is an avid skate skier with hopes of competing in a biathlon in the near future. She also enjoys hiking, running, swimming, mountain biking, sea kayaking, and traveling with her husband and daughter.
