Physician Assistant

Brooke E. Andrews, PA-C is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She has additional certification from the National Association of Athletic Trainers Board of Certification. Before training to be a Physician Assistant, Brooke was an Athletic Trainer. She worked at Colgate University with Division 1 athletes as well as at the high school level for several years.  She enjoyed being Athletic Trainer but wanted to be able to diagnose and treat more than ankle sprains and muscle strains. She completed her masters program at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pennsylvania.

Brooke came to New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center to be close to her family in Groton, MA. She has been with New Hampshire Orthopedic Center for 12 years and enjoys the amount of variety she sees day to day and a great support staff that keeps the office running smoothly. She has stayed at New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center because of the independence she has and the great personalities of the physicians she works with.

She notes that Physician Assistants at New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center are doing leading edge procedures like X-ray guided contrast cortisone injections which are not procedures most Physician Assistants are doing at other practices. She is proud that New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center Physician Assistants excel at them and that they are so helpful to patients.

Brooke enjoys interaction between the Physical Therapists, the nurses on the floors taking care of patients after surgery, the other medical providers involved in a patient’s care, and of course discussing cases and problems with the surgeons she works with daily. She also enjoys discussing unusual orthopaedic cases and X-rays with other orthopaedic Physician Assistants.

Brooke wants prospective patients to know that there is a commitment to excellent care that we all adhere to, from the subspecialty surgeon to the Physician Assistant who might be the first provider you meet here.  We will try to keep you moving!

She enjoys soccer, cooking, drinking iced coffee every morning, keeping her children alive and thriving, and most importantly, getting them to bed each day.

Exceptional orthopaedic care designed to keep you in motion.
