COVID-19 Important Notice

March 24, 2020

Dear Patients:

New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center remains open during the COVID-19 outbreak at our Nashua, Manchester, and Londonderry locations. Our community hospitals and urgent care centers are preparing for, and treating, cases of COVID-19 and have significantly limited their ability to treat orthopedic patients. To the extent possible, please do you part to avoid urgent care centers and hospital emergency departments for orthopaedic care so that patients with COVID-19 symptoms can be treated. Our MRI and Physical Therapy departments are continuing to see patients and perform scans. In addition, we are offering telemedicine services so that you can be treated by an orthopaedic provider without having to leave your home or health care facility.

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about COVID-19 infection in public places, even at our office. We want to assure you that our staff have further heightened our already extremely rigid sterilization standards in the office to reduce the risk of transmission to our outstanding team and to you, our valued patient. Should you need to visit one of our offices, you have the option to wait outside or in your car and be notified via text message when your exam room is available after checking in with our staff.

If you have traveled outside of the country recently, had a fever, cough, respiratory illness and/or have been around someone who may have come in contact with COVID-19, please call to discuss your upcoming appointment and/or surgery with our office at 603-883-0091. Due to working in close proximity with all patients, we want to ensure we are taking necessary precautions to make the office a safe environment for everyone that we serve.

This is just one of the ways that we can show our care for you and everyone in our community. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center
