Physician Assistant

Kame G. McAuliffe, PA-C is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Kame completed her masters program at St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri.

Kame decided to become a Physician Assistant after experiencing orthopedic injuries and requiring her first orthopedic surgery at the age of 15. It was the Physician Assistant caring for her who inspired her to become a Physician Assistant. She would later become a mentor and reference for Kame when she applied for Physician Assistant school.
She chose to specialize in the spine after her sister experienced a horrific spine injury resulting in temporary paralysis. She is thankful every day for being placed in a direction that would not only allow her to help many patients with spine issues but to also be there for her sister when she needed her the most.

Kame has lived and worked in the Manchester/Bedford area since 2001. Since then she has specialized in orthopedic spine issues and provided comprehensive spine care including assessment, diagnosis, and conservative treatment of issues such as acute disc herniation, chronic disc degeneration, spinal stenosis, in both the cervical and lumbar spine. She also assists our three spine surgeons in operative procedures of the spine.

Before joining New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center Kame experienced other New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center providers at local hospitals. She was also a patient at New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center. When the opportunity arose to work as a spine Physician Assistant at New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center, she knew she would be working with a respected, well-known, and talented group of physicians and physician assistants. She says it was a wonderful career opportunity for her.

Kame says that the staff and patients make coming to work at New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center a joy. “We have a nice team of caring professionals who not only care about our patients but each other.”

She appreciates having the availability of other orthopedic sub-specialties within the same practice. Knowing that she has an immediate and trusted referral source for non-spine related issues is comforting and convenient for her and her patients.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young kids. They enjoy outdoor activities, sports, and the water.

Exceptional orthopaedic care designed to keep you in motion.
