Megan L. Deschaine, PA-C

Megan L. Deschaine, PA-C is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Megan was born and raised in New Hampshire. During her experience working as a Licensed Nurse Assistant, she saw first-hand how closely Physician Assistants were able to interact with their patients. This observation solidified her decision to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.

"During my time as a PA student, I was fortunate to have an elective rotation in Neurosurgery. My preceptor worked alongside a surgeon who specialized in minimally invasive spinal surgery. This was where I was able to get hands on experience working with patients suffering from debilitating spinal conditions and observing/assisting with cases in the OR."

"The spine is such a critical part of the body and when it’s compromised in any way, the pain that patients experience is unimaginable. My goal working as an Ortho-Spine PA is to be an advocate for these patients and assist them along their spinal journey at NHOC."

Megan graduated from Saint Michael's College with a Bachelor of Science. She completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS Boston.

"Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and my pets, a 10 month old lab retriever and a 10 year old Cockatiel. I am also very close with my family so any chance I can get to visit them, I do."

"I love playing in any adult field hockey league I can find around NH with my sister. We both played field hockey all the way up through college and enjoy playing years later. I also recently joined f45 and absolutely love it. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys fitness."
