Physical Therapy Specialist
Josh Caouette, DPT graduated from Simmons College in Boston, MA with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, after earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire.
Josh grew up playing sports year round and was drawn to physical therapy as a way to combine his passions for fitness and service to his community. He enjoys working collaboratively with his patients—acting as both a resource and a coach—to help them problem solve, build confidence, and return to the activities they love. Josh takes pride in personalizing his approach to each individual’s unique situation, goals, and lifestyle, while working closely with the interdisciplinary team at New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center to provide the highest quality of care.
Before joining NHOC, Josh began his career at Bridger Orthopedic in Bozeman, Montana, where he worked in a physician-owned orthopedic practice treating a highly active population. There, he helped design and implement a post-operative return-to-sport testing program for lower extremity injuries, sparking his continued interest in working with athletes and active individuals of all ages. Josh enjoys treating patients across the lifespan, with a clinical focus on post-operative rehabilitation and sports medicine—from joint replacements to ACL reconstructions and everything in between.
Originally from Leominster, Massachusetts, Josh and his wife moved back east in 2025 to be closer to family. They now live in New Hampshire with their young son. Outside of work, Josh enjoys running, hiking, camping, and snowboarding.
