Hand & Upper Extremity Specialist
Jinsong Wang, MD, Ph.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He subspecializes in hands and upper extremities.
Jinsong Wang, MD, PhD is an adult and pediatric hand surgeon. He focuses exclusively on trauma, arthritis, fractures and nerve and tendon injuries to the hand, wrist and upper extremities.
Dr. Wang became interested in orthopedic surgery while studying muscle physiology and biophysics as a Ph.D. student.
“I thought that I could use apply my knowledge of muscle physiology and biophysics to orthopedic research to improve peoples’ lives.”
While Dr. Wang’s interest started with his research, what makes him happiest is the trust his patients put in him.

Jinsong Wang, MD, Ph.D. is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Education & Training
Dr. Wang graduated medical school from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois. He interned at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Wang did his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He did his fellowship in hand surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Wang has been voted top Hand Surgeon by New Hampshire Magazine many times including in 2020 and was elected member of Best Doctors.
Dr. Wang is an avid table tennis player and traveler.
Physician Assistant
Brooke works closely with Dr. Wang and may see you before and after surgery. She is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She has additional certification from the National Association of Athletic Trainers Board of Certification. Brooke completed her master’s program at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Physician & Surgery Coordinator
Darion manages Dr. Wang's patient schedule and communication. If you are having surgery, Darion will be your primary contact from the time Dr. Wang recommends surgery through your first post-operative visit.
