Dr. Murthi discovered his passion for spine care during medical school while participating in the treatment of patients with complex musculoskeletal injuries. Witnessing the dramatic improvements patients experienced through expert orthopedic care inspired him to pursue a career focused on restoring mobility and relieving pain.
“The amazing recovery that patients can achieve helped me appreciate the power of science, biomechanics, and the human touch in getting people functioning and enjoying life again without pain.”
Throughout his career, Dr. Murthi has focused on helping patients overcome some of the most debilitating spine-related conditions.
“Spinal nerve pain is one of the most difficult and life-altering symptoms patients can experience. It affects nearly every aspect of daily life. I’ve dedicated much of my professional life to helping people suffering from nerve compression that causes pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling in the arms and legs.”
Dr. Murthi has extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating spine disorders using conservative, non-surgical approaches whenever possible. He utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques and works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include physical therapy, lifestyle modifications, medications, image-guided injections, and other minimally invasive interventions.
Advances in imaging, pain management, and regenerative medicine continue to expand the options available to patients seeking alternatives to surgery. Dr. Murthi remains committed to staying at the forefront of these developments to provide the most effective care possible.
“I think it is important to realize that the patient needs to be the focus of the attention and not the technology itself. I strive to carefully evaluate each patient while listening to their concerns and symptoms. Often, the most effective treatments are not surgical. My goal is to help patients return to the activities they enjoy through the least invasive approach that will provide lasting relief.”
